M&M Parking offers Self Parking and Valet Services throughout Downtown Miami and Miami Beach. We have a full-time staff of over 75 employees here to serve you 24/7. We can be contacted at any hour, day or night, as servicing our customers and clients is our number one priority.
Founded and Incorporated in October 2007, by Mr. Solomon Mayberg and Mr. Andrew Mirmelli, M&M Parking Management began with two parking facilities in the Downtown, Brickell Village area. For the first twelve months, M&M Parking operated in the Brickell Area on accounts including, Brickell Financial Centre, The Plaza at Brickell, Icon Brickell, 500 Brickell, The Ivy, Mint, One Broadway, and a number of independent contractors. At this time, we also began to offer our commercial parking space to the general public.
The transition from operating under-developed Class I construction lots to fully commercial lots developed as the construction boom began to wane, and existing projects became new business. During this first year, the company nurtured close working relationships with Code Enforcement, The Planning and Zoning departments, The Miami Police, and the NET (Neighborhood Enhancement Team) office. During the Fall of 2008, using our parking business acumen and our landlord and city relationships, we began to expand at an incredible rate. We first leased properties in and around the 24 hour nightclub area around NE 11th and NE 14th Streets. Our new lots were servicing visitors to Club Space, Karu &Y, PS 14, and The White Room. Next, we began to expand in the Brickell Village area by taking over the valet at Perricone's restaurant, the garage and surface lot at 1000 Brickell, and the valet for Tobacco Road, The River Oyster Bar, and Indochine. It became clear that valet service was an efficient method to fill up our lots that were mainly catering to the lunch crowd and construction parking.
In the next few months we turned our attention to Miami Beach. We purchased the James Avenue Lot in the heart of the hotel district between 16th and 18th streets. We immediately struck deals with the Sanctuary and National hotels, providing them with parking space and world-class valet service. The purchase of the James Avenue Lot, and the parking possibilities and leverage inherent in owning land, turned our attention to the devastated commercial real estate market. The press and news channels were declaring recession and hard times, but our parking business was expanding each and every month. In March of 2009, we made our second and third purchases. We acquired "LOT D" adjacent to the Adrienne Arsht Center, (50,000 Sq. Ft.), and a parking facility just north of Mary Brickell Village, near to many of our other lots and valet services in that area. Along with these purchases, M&M also secured two important land leases, one across from the American Airlines Arena, and the other the most visible, premiere lot on NE 11th Street in direct view of four major 24 hour nightclubs. In the summer of 2010, M&M purchased both the garage at 1501 Collins Avenue and SuperPark valet, including another five prominent hotel valets.
These are special times with extraordinary possibilities. We manage our current holdings with one foot forward at all times, looking for sensible growth, and great returns.
